Laser Active Protection System LAPS

Main defense targets:

Work mission:To jam, deceive, or disrupt the targeting laser signal of enemy laser-guided weapons, causing them to miss their intended target. This significantly enhances the battlefield survivability of the protected assets.

1. Rapid Response Capability: Total reaction time from detection to countermeasure deployment is ≤ 1.5 seconds, which is critical for successful defense.
2. High-Precision Threat Localization: The integrated laser warning receiver is capable of precisely determining the direction of incoming threat laser radiation.
3. Accurate Threat Identification: Reliably identifies laser signal parameters (wavelength, coding, pulse repetition frequency, etc.) to differentiate between threatening and non-threatening sources.
4. High-Power Laser Source: Employs a powerful laser source for countermeasures such as laser deception (decoying) or suppression against the threat laser.
5. Highly Efficient Corner Reflectors/Scattering Diffusers: Used to generate a bright and stable false target signature (decoy spot).
6. System Integration and Reliability: Features highly integrated subsystems that work in concert and maintain stable operation in harsh battlefield environments.
